Janet founded Marketing Doctor in 2003, after proving to be a leader in the marketing industry. She develops marketing campaigns for organizations of all sizes, ranging from tailored plans for small independently-owned businesses to full-scale, multimillion dollar strategic marketing plans for regional and national product lines. Additionally, Janet has extensive experience in political advertising and non-profit marketing campaigns. Throughout her 25 years in the marketing, Janet has led winning efforts for national and local campaigns, including:

- Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles
Janet leads an aggressive team of marketing professionals who have become industry leaders on a variety of emerging marketing platforms. Under her direction, Marketing Doctor serves many pro bono causes throughout the year, often to benefit women and girls. In her “free” time, Janet and her husband Peter wrangle 4 young, spirited, adventurous kids. They love to spend time together as a family on the beautiful beaches of New England and Florida. Janet has been a step aerobics enthusiast for 30 years and has a small, tight-knit group of friends. She travels with her Book Club Girl Gang and sometimes even reads books.
Carol joined Marketing Doctor in August of 2012, bringing 20+ years of media expertise and experience in both radio and television. As Director of Media Buying, Carol focuses on strategic media-buying, emphasizing analysis and negotiation to ensure the best value, reach, and cost-per-point possible for our clients, meeting and exceeding delivery goals. Over the course of her career, Carol has established excellent working relationships with media outlet account executives across New England and the United States, affording her the ability to set (and achieve) lofty media buying expectations. When she’s not juggling multiple accounts at work, you can find Carol at home cooking (she’s famous for her crock-pot concoctions), spending time with her family, gardening, knitting and cheering on the New England Patriots.
Since 2012, Devon has spearheaded the creative initiatives at Marketing Doctor. With a Studio Art degree from Clark University and over 15 years of graphic design experience under her belt, Devon specializes in digital, print, web-conceptualization, and design. As a Google Partner, Devon oversees AdWords campaigns for both search and digital networks, remarketing strategies across display networks. In addition to serving as Creative Director, Devon also leads our Social Media team, managing all paid social media dashboards to optimize social campaign budgets and spending, and provides analysis to measure campaign ROI, ensuring the best value for our clients. When she’s not at work, you can find Devon cheering for her two sons at various local sporting events. Athleticism runs in the family: back in her college days, Devon was the first field hockey player at Clark to be named to the First Team National All-American Field Hockey team, serving on the Board of the Northampton Cal Ripken Baseball League, or cooking and eating at home.
Caroline first joined Marketing Doctor as an intern in April 2014. Since graduating from Westfield State University with a degree in Business Management and a concentration in Marketing, Caroline has grown into an invaluable Social Media strategist and analyst, boasting top industry certifications in Google Analytics and Facebook Blueprint. Caroline works directly with our clients as an Account Manager to provide social media management, content development and production, Google Analytics reporting, SEO tracking, media buying, and post-buy analysis of all media buys company-wide. When she’s not analyzing and tracking data for our clients, you’ll find Caroline working in her garden, arranging flowers, playing with her pup Titan, or quadding through the woods of Ludlow.
Michaela joined the Marketing Doctor in October of 2016. As Account Executive in Government Markets, Michaela manages the sourcing and bid writing for federal and state contracts. With a professional background in digital marketing, research, writing, and editing, Michaela also serves as the in-house copywriter, providing research and writing support to the rest of the team. Michaela is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, and is excited to support Marketing Doctor in its mission to empower women and girls at local, state, federal, and global levels. In her free time, Michaela likes to do free-hand embroidery and paper crafts, harmonize with the radio in her Subaru, and snuggle her cats.
After completing a certificate in Graphic Design at Holyoke Community College, Mindy joined Marketing Doctor in July of 2015. She utilizes her expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to produce digital and print ads, with a focus on billboards, storyboards, direct mail, photo editing, Facebook carousel ads, and cartooning. Mindy has also worked on various promotional projects, including designing for silkscreen shirts, banners, coasters, and button pins. When she’s not at work, you’ll find Mindy at home working on her art and studying techniques in printing.
Kari joined Marketing Doctor in December 2016, bringing over a decade of experience in operations and administrative management to the team. Her background in non-profit healthcare and human services has equipped Kari to work with a variety of diverse populations. Described as the “Systems Queen” by her friends, Kari has a penchant for streamlining processes and procedures. At Marketing Doctor, Kari does a little bit of everything to support the team, with a focus on client data analysis and presentation. When she’s not knee-deep in data, Kari likes to write music, create art, go on hikes, and binge watch Game of Thrones. She is a diehard football fan, forever loyal to her home team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
Sam joined Marketing Doctor in August 2015 and quickly outgrew his role as an intern. Currently pursuing a degree in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Sam acts as a fundamental bridge between our clients and our staff, providing social media management, content writing, research, bid and proposal writing, auditing, client reports, and analysis. Sam specializes in government buys, and served as the lead writer of Marketing Doctor’s winning bid for the HIC/Guaranty Fund Awareness & Education Campaign with the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation. In his downtime, Sam enjoys hanging out at Cranes’ Beach with his two dogs.
Candace joined the Marketing Doctor team in January 2015 as our Business Manager. Since then, she has become the backbone that keeps us afloat and on-budget. After receiving an Associate’s Degree in Legal Studies and a Paralegal Certificate from Our Lady of the Elms College, Candace launched a career in bookkeeping and tax preparation, also working as a bankruptcy paralegal for 20 years. When she’s not crunching numbers, you’ll find her getting her nails done or adding to her collection of anything and everything that is pink!
Since becoming a member of Marketing Doctor in January of 2017, Aubree creates copy and content for a variety of online mediums. As an English and Psychology double major graduate of Mount Holyoke College, Aubree comprehends both the larger picture relating to consumer decision making and the smaller details—like grammar and syntax. Aubree’s core strength is her ability to adapt to a style and tone of voice to reflect each client. At the end of the day, she either boxes, plays tennis, practices Pilates or CrossFit, and then burns the midnight oil finishing her academia.
Allison joined Marketing Doctor in March of 2017 as a part-time copy and content writer. After completing her degree in Art History from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, Allison spent a year working in Berlin, Germany. Her interdisciplinary approach to communication shines through in her writing style, whether she is writing custom organic Facebook posts for a Marketing Doctor client, or a targeted informational piece for one of our government bids.
Brianna joined the Marketing Doctor team in February of 2017. Brianna provides expert administrative support to a variety of accounts, ranging from market research and vendor sourcing to detailed data analysis. She is an expert number-cruncher, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Elms College and a professional background in public accounting and corporate finance. When she's not at work, you'll find Brianna on a hike with her two children, enjoying wine & brie, boating with friends and family on the Connecticut River, or in her backyard growing vegetables and playing with her chickens.
Dave joined the Marketing Doctor team in March 2016 after being in Radio Production for 28 years. His background included him writing copy, producing commercials, as well as taking the role of Production Manager. He has further experience in voiceover work for radio and television on both local and national commercials. At Marketing Doctor, Dave’s primary responsibilities include writing radio and TV scripts for automotive and healthcare clients.
Ashley King, Administrative Assistant, joined Marketing Doctor in April of 2017. Ashley provides administrative support on all accounts, including data analysis, report generation, and market research. Ashley has her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with a concentration in Media Arts & Analysis from Westfield State University. She has a professional background in web content creation and management.
Evan joined the Marketing Doctor team in July of 2017. After graduating from the College of the Holy Cross with a B.A. in English, he put his skills to use as a digital marketer. He found his niche in social media and blog writing, meshing creativity and analysis, and supports a variety Marketing Doctor clients. When Evan’s not busy fixing grammatical errors, you can find him playing bass for his band, paid in quarters.
